Methods of Documentation and Measured Drawings
Project 1: Sketchbook and Journal
In this assignment, students are required to produce on-site sketches of the building that we were tasked to measure and its surroundings. The building my group and I were assigned to was a kopitiam (coffee shop) located in Ipoh named Lim Ko Pi.
The sketches are to comprise of the following:
1. The Genius Loci
2. Poetic Quality
3. Cultural Attributes
4. Construction Details
In my sketches I had observed and analyzed the details of the building and noted each of my sketches.
Project 2: Building report and Video
Students were tasked to produce a documentation and video of the building's condition, history, identity and architectural elements and qualities. Not only that, we were assigned to create a photobook to furthur enhance the experience given to show the character of the building. The video is also needed to create a 3D experience of the kopitiam.
Each of us were involved in the report. I was in charge of the history of Ipoh, its state and the history of the kopitiam's site context.

Project 3: Measured drawings and Model
In the final project, student were required to produced technical drawings through an architectural software, Autocad, of the assigned building and create a model of the building.
I was tasked to create technical drawings of the ormentations found in the building and a model together with my group using balsa wood as the main material. The model contains site section models on different section of the building, the main model and models of the details of the ornamentations and window.
