Project 1 - Auditorium: A case study on Acoustic design
In groups of 8, students are to conduct a case study on an auditorium design layout that can influence the public address (PA) system in a hall. Sound path diagrams, plans and sections and types of acoustic materials are to be produced. Analysis of the study are to be compiled in an A4 report.
My group and I have chosen an auditorium mostly used for church services in a church called SIBKL.
Project 2: Integrated Lighting Design and PSALI
This project introduces students to energy efficiency in buildings by integrating day lighting into lighting design (PSALI) in their individual studio designs. Students are also required to determine the number of lamps required to use in a space and produce a lighting contour.
Below are my integrated lighting design and PSALI in my studio design compiled into an A1 sized presentation board and a report.
